The TO-BE COST action aims to create a network of scientists working on complementary aspects of transition metal oxide-based science and technology. The hot topics are in the fields of nanoelectronic, microelectromechanical and macroelectronic devices, expected to revolutionize digital Information and Communication Technology (ICT), microactuation/microsensing and energy conversion.
The event will take place at the University of Aveiro (Aveiro, Portugal) from the 30th of March till the 2nd April 2015.
The meeting is intended to promote mutual collaborations and define common strategies among the TO-BE COST partners, as well as attract additional scientists and companies into the Action. The meeting aims to share information on: novel global trends in the field of Transition metal oxides, novel methods for growth and nanofabrication, novel device concepts, and future funding opportunities.
The TO-BE SPRING MEETING 2015 will feature plenary and invited presentations, oral and poster contributions.
A provisional list of the invited Speakers is already online:
A call for oral and poster presentations is open till the 9th of January 2015.
Participation is NOT restricted to the members of the project and non-EU participants will be very welcome as well. Please note that, thanks to the support of TO-BE COST action, there will be no registration fee. However, it is necessary to register online by January, 9th.
