The Physics Department, the James Franck Institute (JFI), and the Enrico Fermi Institute (EFI) at the University of Chicago invite applications for faculty positions at all ranks in an area broadly defined as Quantum States of Matter and Geometry, encompassing overlapping areas of condensed matter and atomic physics as well as general relativity and string theory.
