The emerging field of antiferromagnetic spintronics focuses on making antiferromagnets active elements of spintronic devices. It brings together application and basic physics points of views and therefore several communities that come with different perspectives. The recent successes in this new area and rapid theoretical and experimental developments make this the right time for a focused conference on the subject.
SPICE will provide accommodation and catering for the duration of the workshop for each participant at the beautiful location of the Schloß Waldthausen in Mainz.

Applications to participate in the workshop must be made online before 15th July, 2016 (https://www.spice.uni-mainz.de/afmspin-workshop-2016/). We will inform the applicants of acceptance by August 8th, 2016. Participation fee for non-speakers is 450 euros.
