SPICE-Workshop “Topology Matters” 25-28 of July, 2017

We are delighted to announce the SPICE-Workshop “Topology Matters” which will be held from the of 25th to the 28th of July 2017 at the Johannes Gutenberg University, Mainz.

The workshop “Topology Matters” aims to bring together the top scientists in the fields of spintronics, superconductivity, topological insulators, and multiferroics, to explore their connections. The rapid developments in each of these fields, and the emerging importance of topology in all of them makes this workshop very timely.

This SPICE workshop will take place at the Mainz Institute of Theoretical Physics venue, located at the Johannes Gutenberg University.

Applications to participate in the workshop must be made online before the 1st of April, 2017 (http://www.spice.uni-mainz.de/tm-workshop-2017/). We will inform the applicants of acceptance by the 15th of April, 2017. Participation fee for non-speakers is 100 euros. The conference will be planned family friendly.
