Register now to book your place for the ‘Engineering Quantum Matter’ workshop, to be held at the University of St Andrews, Scotland, UK from 8-10 June 2016. The aim of this workshop is to bring together theorists and experimentalists to discuss how engineered quantum states can be exploited and designed to advance our current understanding and underpin future technologies. The workshop connects strongly to local research activities at the University of St Andrews and links into a major collaborative research programme on topological protection and non-equilibrium states in strongly correlated electron systems. Over 100 delegates from the UK and abroad are expected to attend.

An exciting list of invited speakers have confirmed their attendance so far:

Monika Aidelsburger (MPQ Munich), James Analytis (UC Berkeley), Emilio Artacho (University of Cambridge), Eva Benckiser (MPI Stuttgart), Andrea Cavalleri (MPI Hamburg), Piers Coleman (Rutgers University), Jenny Hoffman (UBC Vancouver), Kyoko Ishizaka (University of Tokyo), Dieter Jaksch (University of Oxford), Benjamin Lev (Stanford University), Jeremy Levy (University of Pittsburgh), Nadya Mason (University of Illinois), Laurens Molenkamp (University of Würzburg), John Morton (University College London), Catherine Pepin (CEA Saclay), Irfan Siddiqi (UC Berkeley).

Places are limited and registration is on a first come, first served basis at www.eqm2016.co.uk. The early bird registration fee is £150 until 1st April. Abstracts for contributed talks and posters should be submitted online by 1stApril.
