The Spanish community that uses low-energy electrons for imaging is expanding. By now there are in Spain two low-energy electron microscopes open to users: the one devoted mostly to photoemission microscopy at the Alba synchrotron in Barcelona and the lab-based one devoted mostly to electron imaging at the Instituto de Química Física Blas Cabrera in Madrid. In order to foster and disseminate information on the technique, provide a meeting point between users and researchers interested in the field, and present the latest research, we are going to have the first IBERLEEM conference in Madrid in october 15-17 2025.
