A postdoc position in the area of computational and theoretical condensed matter physics is available in the group of Prof. Antia Botana at Arizona State University. The goal is to develop a fundamental understanding of the physics of quantum materials by using electronic structure calculations. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise and strong interests in density functional theory, high-temperature superconductivity, strongly correlated electron systems, and magnetic properties. The anticipated start date is as early as January 1st 2021. Projects on both 2D-magnets and layered nickelate superconductors are available.
