About the center: Shanghai Center for Complex Physics (SCCP), a unit of the School of Physics and Astronomy at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (http://sccp.physics.sjtu.edu.cn) conducts experimental and theoretical research at the interface between traditional condensed matter physics and the newer field of quantum information, including topological quantum computing, unconventional and high-transition temperature superconductors, topological quantum materials and strongly entangled many-electron systems. Professor Tony Leggett of University of Illinois is its founding director and Professor Ying Liu is its executive director. The working language of the Center is English. Those who do not speak Chinese will be able to carry out their teaching and other official duties in English if appointed. Several non-Chinese faculty members are currently working at SJTU Physics and Astronomy
