The school reviews the state-of-the-art of solid-state based quantum information processing in settings such as quantum dots, superconductors, photonic crystals, and topological matter. Prospects of quantum computing and the study of quantum many-body physics are explored.

The school is oriented towards Master/PhD students and young postdocs with a background in nanotechnologies, condensed matter or quantum optics and an interest in the methods and applications of quantum information.
