Spintech VIII, Basel, August 10-13, 2015.

The 8th International School and Conference on Spintronics and Quantum Information Technology (SPINTECH VIII) will be held in Basel, Switzerland. The list of confirmed invited speakers, abstract submission, registration and hotel reservation information is now available through the website.

Spintech VIII will highlight fundamental physical phenomena related to spin-dependent effects in condensed matter and advances in the development of new spintronic materials, structures, and devices, including quantum information science and concepts. As in past years, the school will take place during the first half of the meeting to orient newcomers and students to emerging  topics, followed by a conference aiming at stimulating the progress in new materials, measurement, and theory of spintronics/quantum information systems. Besides invited talks there will be contributed talks selected from the abstract submissions.
