We would like to draw your attention to the 706.WE-Heraeus-Seminar <https://www.we-heraeus-stiftung.de/veranstaltungen/seminare/2019/superconducting-kinetic-inductances/>  on the topic of “Superconducting Kinetic Inductances”, which will take place in Bad Honnef, Germany, November 10th – 13th, 2019.

The aim of the seminar is to bring together scientists from different communities who deal with superconductors with high kinetic inductances, such as highly disordered or granular superconducting materials or devices based on Josephson junctions. Such superconductors are of interest from a fundamental point of view, and in recent years they have also been used to implement various devices ranging from circuits for quantum information processing to detectors in astronomy and particle physics.

The seminar is sponsored by the Wilhelm und Else Heraeus-Stiftung, which covers conference organization and accommodation of all participants. In line with the traditions of WE-Heraeus-Seminars, oral presentations will be by invited speakers only, who are encouraged to include pedagogical introductions to their field of expertise. There will be ample time for discussions, and all participants are encouraged to present a poster.

Further information, including the list of invited speakers, can be found on the seminar website:
