The Physics Department at Temple University anticipates a tenure-track appointment in the area of condensed matter theory, to begin July 1, 2016, subject to administrative approval. We are especially interested in candidates who work in computational materials science, but all sub-fields are welcome to apply. Candidates must hold a doctorate in an appropriate field. They should have demonstrated the ability to perform excellent research, and should show promise for high-quality physics teaching. A secondary desideratum is the ability to further strengthen the link between theory and experiment within the department.
