The Department of Physics and Astronomy of the Johns Hopkins University expects to fill a faculty position in experimental or theoretical condensed matter physics. Applications are welcome from researchers in all areas, including hard and soft matter and biological physics. This is an open-rank search, and candidates will be considered for appointment both at the assistant professor level and at higher ranks, as appropriate. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain an active research program and to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
