The School of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Minnesota invites applications for one research associate position in theoretical condensed matter physics, with a starting date in the spring or fall of 2015. The successful candidate will work in the research group of Professor Rafael Fernandes, and will be expected to interact with the condensed matter experimental groups as well. Specific research topics include, but are not limited to, unconventional superconductivity, emerging phases, oxide heterostructures, disordered quantum systems, and transport in strongly correlated systems.
