Applications are invited for postdoctoral research positions in quantum information and condensed matter theory group at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. The group expects to appoint one or more postdoctoral fellows beginning in Fall 2016, although earlier start of the appointment is also possible. Currently, the theory group includes S. Coppersmith, M. Friesen, R. Joynt, A. Levchenko, and M. Vavilov. Our research profiles can be found at http://wiqi.physics.wisc.edu/theory. We have strong ties between the members of the group and our experimental colleagues at the department of Physics and will offer flexibility in the choice of research topics. The specific research directions span from quantum computing to strongly correlated electron systems.
