The Department of Physics, University of Alberta (www.physics.ualberta.ca) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in theoretical condensed matter physics. We primarily seek candidates at the Assistant Professor level, but exceptional candidates at a more senior level will be considered. Applicants must possess a Ph.D. in Physics, have established an exceptional research program and be committed to teaching. The successful candidate will be expected to build a strong research program, supervise graduate students and teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Consideration of applications will begin by November 15, 2015 and continue until the position is filled. The start date for this position is July 1, 2016.
