12 Marie Skłodowska-Curie doctoral fellowships available in the 2nd Call of DOC-FAM COFUND programme coordinated by the Institute of Materials Science of Barcelona (ICMAB-CSIC)
8th October 2018 the second call for DOC-FAM (“DOCtoral training programme in Functional Advanced Materials”) was launched. DOC-FAM is the first COFUND programme from the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (H2020-MSCA-DP-2016) awarded to the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) in its history. This excellence training programme, is coordinated by the Institute of Materials Science of Barcelona (ICMAB-CSIC), a Severo Ochoa Centre of Excellence, in collaboration with several partner research Institutions from the area: ALBA-CELLS Synchrotron (CELLS); the Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ICN2); the Catalonia Institute for Energy Research (IREC) and the Institute of Microelectronics of Barcelona (IMB-CNM-CSIC).*
During the 60 month duration of the programme, two calls have been launched for the recruitment of 22 Marie-Skłodowska-Curie Early-Stage Researchers (ESRs) during 36 months each. In the second Call, with deadline 30th November 2018, a total of 12 fellowships are available: ICMAB-CSIC (4), ALBA-CELLS (2), IREC (2) and IMB-CNM-CSIC (2) and ICN2 (2). A dedicated interdisciplinary, intersectorial and international training programme will be offered to the recruited fellows combining a full range of activities including complementary training courses, workshops, schools and secondments to other research centres or Universities.
Recruited fellows will be offered 3-year employment contracts in a multidisciplinary, multicultural and stimulating research training environment, with access to state-of-the-art equipment and facilities for personal and professional career development. An attractive salary of 33,600 €/year (with taxes and including living plus mobility allowances); in addition to research, training and networking costs (6,000 €/year) and PhD tuition fees (600 €/year).
