We would like to share with you the that the KITP program, Spin and Heat Transport in Quantum and Topological Materials, will be held at the Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics at the University of California, Santa Barbara, from October 21, 2019 to December 20, 2019. Applications are now being accepted. We encourage you to inform others who might be interested in applying.
Information about the program can be found online at https://www.kitp.ucsb.edu/activities/spinquant19. A primary deadline, is September 30, 2018. Applications received after this deadline will also be considered but in a rolling basis and the budget space permits.
At KITP programs, scientists learn from each other and do substantive research, often in collaboration with other participants. To foster interaction, KITP encourages theorists to stay for as long as possible. Three weeks is the minimum stay for a regular participant.
If you wish to participate, go to the program web page, and click Apply. Also, please not that there will be an associated conference, Spintronics Meets Topology in Quantum Materials, that will be held from Nov. 12-15, 2019. For the conference one must apply separately at https://www.kitp.ucsb.edu/activities/spinquant-c19 .
