Brief description of the research lines of the group and contact details: We are devoted to questions related to quantum transport for charge (nanoelectronics), spin (spintronics), energy (thermoelectrics) and information (quantum correlations), with a particular focus on nanostructures. The presence of superconductivity in such context, either as superconducting islands or electrodes, as well as its interplay with topological properties is one of our main focus of interest.
Our group has a research line in quantum transport through hybrid devices. In particular in nanowires with induced superconductivity that can host Majorana fermions. Additionally, we investigate extended Majorana states in topological superconductors and its linear response to an ac driving. Finally we have collaborations with experimental groups that investigate the competition between the Kondo effect and the superconductivity
