Opening for a Hearne Research Chair in Theoretical Physics at Louisiana State University
The Hearne Chair has an endowment of approximately $1M, the annual interests of which the Chair holder has discretion over, and the holder will be a co-director of the Hearne Institute for Theoretical Physics at LSU. The appointment will be at the level of a tenured professor. The successful candidates must have an exceptional record of research accomplishment and will be expected to teach and establish an innovative and dynamic research program. The area of interest in theoretical physics is not restricted.
