The POEMAS group (Opto-Electronic Processes in Advanced Materials and Surfaces) of the Materials Science Institute of the University of Valencia has available a position for non-doctoral research staff associated with the project “Electro-optic processes for improving efficiency and the stability of multifunctional materials” (PID2019-104272RB-C53)
The specific objective of the contract will be the study of charge separation and recombination at interfaces using atomic force microscopy and Kelvin probes (AFM and KPFM) that allow the electrical properties of materials and devices to be analyzed with nanometric resolution. The work will therefore involve training in force microscopy measurements and the study of optoelectronic processes in hybrid nanostructured materials (organic-inorganic).
We are looking for a motivated, hard-working person with a vocation for experimental science. A graduate degree in physics, chemistry or a related degree will be required. The Master’s degree is not necessary but will be positively valued.
The duration of the contract will be 12 months (extendable) with the salary conditions established by the University of Valencia (1468.25 € per month). Interested persons should contact Núria Garro (nuria.garro@uv.es) or Ana Cros (ana.cros@uv.es) by email and attach their curriculum vitae.
