The group works on: Theory. Fundamental Science

Brief description of the research lines of the group and contact details: We work on the development of new theoretical first-principles methods to correctly describe complex properties of solids and nanostructures, in particular, anharmonic properties of solids and the electron-phonon interaction. We apply our new theoretical methods to characterize the physical properties of solids. For instance, we work intensely on the discovery and theoretical characterization of hydrogen-based high-temperature superconductors, as well as 2D superconductors.
