The Condensed Matter Theory group (www.lpt.ups-tlse.fr/ffc), lead by Didier Poilblanc, expect to appoint two postdoctoral fellows in the Fall 2019 and/or in the Fall 2020 or later (the exact starting dates are flexible). We are looking for strong candidates interested in quantum condensed matter theory with an emphasis on 2D tensor network techniques applied to strongly correlated electrons, frustrated magnetism, topological phases of matter, quantum dynamics, and ultracold atomic gases. The positions based at LPT-Toulouse (CNRS) are founded by a ANR/RGC Joint Research Scheme with Professor Zhengcheng Gu, Department of Physics, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (HK). Visits to HK will be possible.

To apply, please send your curriculum vitae and a brief research statement. Candidates should also arrange for two letters of recommendation (by e-mail) from two scientists familiar with their work. Applications and letters should be sent to Didier.Poilblanc@irsamc.ups-tlse.fr
