We are pleased to announce the Workshop “UFOX – Unveiling complex phenomena in Functional OXides” which will be held on July 7th-8th 2016 in Salerno (Italy).
The aim of the UFOX Workshop is to join together leading scientists involved in advanced probes and modeling of correlated systems and transition metal oxide (TMO) materials. A special emphasis in UFOX will be on hybrid TMO combinations (e.g. 3d-4d, 4d-5d, etc.) and oxide interfaces that can manifest features at the nanometer scale that are dramatically different from those of their building blocks, allowing the engineering of novel effects and functionalities (see the attached flyer for more details).
