The group works on: Experiment. Applied Science
Brief description of the research lines of the group and contact details:
1.- Analyse quench generation and propagation in 2G-HTS coils (Elena Martínez, elenamar_at_unizar.es).
2.- Calculate, fabricate and characterize thermal cryogenic junctions that can be used to improve thermal stability of superconducting devices (Elena Martínez, elenamar_at_unizar.es).
3.- Laser induced surface nanostructures to modify surface superconductivity in Nb shets (Luis A. Angurel, angurel_at_unizar.es).
4.- Laser treatments in MgB2 bulk superconductors to improve levitation forces (Luis A. Angurel, angurel_at_unizar.es).
5.- Fabrication of textured superconducting bulk HTS ceramics using Laser Zone Melting techniques (Xermán F. de la Fuente, xerman_at_unizar.es)
6.- Critical State Model calculations in different configurations (Antonio Badía, anabadia_at_unizar.es)
